Cho-Oyu Expedition

Cho-Oyu ExpeditionCho Oyu is 8201m. High and was first climbed by Austrian 1954. The Indian and German team also did ascent to this peak in 1958 and 1964 respectively. Till to date many expedition teams Reached on it summit. This year 2004 has been regarded as the Golden jubilee of this Cho Oyu Mountain, so Nepal mountaineering Association has been planning to celebrate its Golden jubilee with grand fanfare and Jubilantly; that's why the valued expedition teams are mostly solicited to climb this peak on this happy occasion resplendently.

Most of the Cho Oyu expedition teams climb the peak via Tibet side due the easy technique through the Tibet . Since 1998, our company " Adventure Pilgrims Treks and Expedition" is also conducting the expedition via this same Tibet side. Our company is also initiating Golden Jubilee Cho Oyu Expedition 2004. So the interested climbers are heartily well come to join with us at this happy climbing occasion.

Cho-Oyu Expedition Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu (1350m.) transfer hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu
Day 03: Kathmandu
Day 04: Drive to Kodari & transfer Zhangmu 2300m.-Hotel
Day 05: Drive Nylam 2750m. - Hotel
Day 06: Nylam rest for acclimatization
Day 07: Drive Tingri 4340m. - Hotel
Day 08: Rest of day for acclimatized
Day 09: Drive to Chinese Base Camp 4700m. Camping
Day 10: Chinese Base Camp
Day 11: Prepared load to Yak fo Advance Base Camp.
Day 12: Base Camp - Middle camp with Yaks
Day 13: Middle Camp - Cho Oyu Advance Base Camp
Day 14-38: Climbing Period for Cho Oyu 8201m. Total 24 days
Day 39: Advance Base camp - Chinese Base camp
Day 40: Base Camp - Drive to Tingri
Day 41: Drive Tingri - Zhangmu
Day 42: Drive Zhangmu - Kathmandu
Day 43: Kathmandu
Day 44: Kathmandu
Day 45: Final Departure.
